About Southbay

Southbay Entrance on US 41 in Osprey Southbay is a unique, established community on the southwest coast of Florida. Located between Sarasota and Venice, it has more than 350 custom homes, a large clubhouse & pool, lighted tennis courts, and arguably the finest private deep water marina on the Gulf coast. It features 172 boat slips.

Southbay's social lifestyle revolves around the clubhouse with its ballroom, card and meeting rooms, exercise room, and large community pool. Women's Club, Power and Sail Club, Sunday morning coffee and golf and tennis leagues, are just some of the activities. The Association's common grounds are lined with over five miles of winding hardtop surface for your walking, running, or biking enjoyment.

Private Marina
Southbay owns and operates one of the largest and finest community-owned deep water marinas on the west coast of Florida. It has 172 boat slips that can accommodate boats up to 55 feet in length. For property owners' use only, its monthly slip rentals are some of the most affordable in Florida.

Homes for Sale
With almost all of the lots in Southbay having homes, usually about 5% of the homes are for sale at any one time. Many homes are located on the Intracoastal, facing the marina, or park-like greenbelt areas. Prices range from the $400,000's to more than $2Million.

Boats For Sale
There are only property owners' boats in the Marina. They range from small runabouts to over 50 foot power cruisers and/or sailing vessels. Usually there are boats for sale that could meet your needs.
